The Congress of Future Medical Leaders Virtual Experience offers your high-achieving high school student the opportunity to network with other like-minded young adults, connect with scientific and medical experts, and explore their interest in science, technology, and medicine.
Whether your child already knows he or she wants to become a doctor, surgeon, or researcher, or is still exploring your career options, your child’s nomination to the Congress of Future Medical Leaders will give them the clarity, inspiration, and information they need to move forward in their academic career with confidence.
Clarity. Confidence. Curiosity.
While students love the Congress of Future Medical Leaders Award of Excellence they receive, many walk away with so much more. Here’s a sneak peek at the exclusive and high-level experiences your child will have as a Delegate to the Congress of Future Medical Leaders.
Your Child will “Participate” in a Live Surgical Procedure
Your child will almost feel like they are wearing scrubs and surgical gloves as they participate in a LIVE surgery.
They’ll experience the unique opportunity to ask the surgeon probing questions about the cutting-edge technology being used, the surgical approach, and anything else that comes to mind.
After watching this session, your high school student will have a better understanding of surgery and know if they want to learn more about surgical specialties.
Your Child will Hear from Renowned Doctors, Medical Leaders, and Nobel Laureates
Your child will be virtually mentored by some of the greatest minds in medicine and science as they share their stories, insights, and research through presentations and Q&A time.
These inspiring professionals will share their journey to medicine and science, helping boost your child’s confidence by showing your child that they can achieve great things even if they aren’t their school’s valedictorian.
Your Child will Network with Other High Achievers Interested in Making a Difference
Virtual doesn’t mean boring, because your child won’t just watch the presentations, they’ll participate!
Through technology-backed interactive opportunities like breakout sessions, social media engagement, and exercises, your child will get the chance to meet, talk with, and befriend other students, ask questions, and stay engaged.
Many Delegates walk away from the Congress with lifelong friends who share their interests and goals.

My son had a great experience with the 2020 virtual Congress! I was a bit skeptical whether he would stay engaged for the full 3 days, sitting at his computer, but he was! The Congress did a great job keeping the delegates engaged – it was a very interactive program and he learned so much about the field of medicine and even about himself. We look forward to attending the Congress live next year!

My son was thinking that is was going to be boring. But after getting there and it starting it changed his mind. He enjoyed it so much, we didn’t leave until it was over each night. He learned so much and enjoyed each speaker. That he is wanting to go back next year. Even though he is wanting to go into science engineering. I thank a lot of it was the speakers they all touched on there own personal experiences an how they over came the obstacles to be successful.
