What If Your Student Could See What Their Future in Medicine Could Look Like?
Jada McMahon already knew she was interested in medicine.
But attending the Congress as a high school senior gave her something more: a chance to see young people like herself already making an impact in science and medicine.
That experience helped turn an interest in medicine into a future she could see herself pursuing.
See How the Congress Shaped Jada's Journey
From a 2020 interview when Jada was a medical student at SUNY Upstate
Jada attended the Congress of Future Medical Leaders as a high school senior.
There, she met students and medical professionals who showed her that people her age were already making an impact in science and medicine.
She left inspired to take her passions seriously and pursue medicine without waiting for the "right" time.
Today, Jada is a Psychiatry Resident at Yale School of Medicine.
She says the Congress "solidified for me that medicine was an option for me."
If you see that same potential in your student, nominate them today.

Seeing What's Possible Can Change Everything
Seeing What's Possible Can Change Everything
Your student may already know they love science.
They may already be thinking about becoming a doctor.
But knowing what you want and believing that you can actually do it are two different things.
For Jada, the Congress gave her the chance to see students her own age pursuing extraordinary opportunities in science.
She watched young people receive national recognition for their work. She met doctors and researchers from different backgrounds. And she saw women succeeding in medicine and science.
For the first time, the path felt attainable.

What Your Student Will Experience
At the Congress, students don't just hear about careers in medicine.
They experience what the world of medicine and medical research can look like. They:
- Hear directly from Nobel Laureates, physicians, and researchers
- Watch a live surgery and ask questions in real time
- Learn how successful students begin building their path toward medical school
- Meet other high-achieving students who are just as serious about their future
- See people from different backgrounds succeeding in medicine and science
For many students, that exposure can make a future that once felt distant feel much more attainable.
