About the Congress of Future Medical Leaders

The Congress is a national three-day immersive experience designed for high-achieving high school students who aspire to become doctors or biomedical Ph.D.s.

Each year, 3,000–4,000 students attend the event at the Tsongas Center at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where they:

  • Learn from Nobel Laureates and leading physicians
  • Witness a live surgery broadcast with real-time Q&A
  • Hear insights from medical school admissions experts
  • Connect with a community of academically driven peers

This experience helps students gain clarity, confidence, and early exposure to the medical profession.
