There are several reasons why high school students should take courses in the STEM curriculum. Businesses should be partners with the school – acting as mentors and providing other resources. Students in STEM schools should also regularly utilize computers and lab equipment. These schools can play an important role in the development of future scientists, doctors, and engineers.
