Gates Chili High School announces top 20 seniors

Ivana-Re’ Baldie plans to attend University of Rochester in the fall to study biochemistry. Her activities included Show Choir, Marching Band, Math League, Musicals, Sirens A Cappella and Step Team. Baldie served as president of NHS, Show Choir and Sirens A Cappella as well as Step Team captain. Past awards and honors include high honor roll, academic varsity letter, two academic chevrons, medicine nominee at National Youth Leadership Forum, National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists Award of Excellence, Bausch and Lomb Honorary Science Award, Urban League Black Scholar, English 11 Award, Latin 4 Award and Gold Presidential Service Award.
Joseph Cilento will study physics and math at SUNY Geneseo in the fall. His activities included varsity swimming, tennis and cross country; Math League; MasterMinds; Jazz Band; Marching Band; Tri-M; NHS; and male cheerleading. He served as varsity swimming captain in 2015-17. Past awards and honors include American Chemical Society Award, academic varsity letter two gold chevrons, high honor roll and multiple Student of the Month awards and end-of-the-year excellence awards.
