MIDDLETOWN >> Jason Jingqing Hu, a sophomore attending Xavier High School, has been nominated by Dr. John Mather, winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics, to receive the National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists Award of Excellence. He will be representing Xavier and the state of Connecticut in the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Massachusetts this summer.
The Congress is an honors-only program for high school students interested science, technology, engineering or mathematics. The event is intended to honor, inspire, motivate and direct the top students in the country who aspire to be scientists and technologists.
