Kelley nominees have varied skills

Caden James Staggers is the son of John and Kerri Staggers.
As a member of the KHS soccer team, “Cade” was named leading scorer in 2015 and offensive MVP in 2016. He was West Virginia All-Area.
In basketball, he has been named All-PVC and was recognized as one of the top 20 foul shooters for the area and one of the top five three-point shooters in the area during his junior and senior years.
This year, Staggers earned a spot in KHS basketball history by becoming the third all-time three-point shooter for the school with 110 career three-point shots.
Academically, Staggers is ranked 15th in his class with a GPA of 3.9. He has been on the honor roll his entire high school career, and is a member of the Mu Alpha Theta Math Honorary and the National Honor Society.
He was selected to attend Mountaineer Boys State, where he was elected as a county commissioner, and was selected as a delegate representing the State of West Virginia at the Congress of Future Medical Leaders.
